You don't often hear of a female home inspector, well that's because there aren't too many out there. One of the many reasons which motivated me to join the field of home inspectors.  So as a detailed woman being in real estate I decided to make my way into home inspections and learn more especially about the major components. Many times I've heard, " Are you sure you want to do this?  You don't often see women in this field." Hearing those words pushed me to want to learn more and make this my full time career. I grew up with three brothers and a sister but with one of my brothers I was able to start a convenience store business with him and watch him tear up floors, walls, ceilings and start over from scratch. Before he passed it was one of his dreams to take homes and make them livable for others. Although I am quite handy thanks to him, he was better at it. Since I physically can't do the all the work in renovating homes to try and continue our goals. I figured out a way to help families move into a home and be happy. My goal is to educate those on the things they wouldn't know what to look for when buying a home. Recommendations are given for any repairs or safety concerns and if needed a list of contractors in your area that you can choose from.
